Heavy structural steel prices fall further by INR 500/t in central India

Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur decreased by INR 500/t to INR 58,000/t exw d-o-d for 150mm channel. Trade discounts in the spot market are hovering up to INR 2,000/t.
The base price of light structure steel (55*55 angle) is INR 48,000-48,500/t exw, down INR 500/t d-o-d.
Subdued buying interest and negligible trade volumes amidst downtrend in billet prices prompted suppliers to reduce structural steel prices.
