Domestic trade reference prices of hot-rolled (HR) plate (E250, 5-10mm) stands unchanged at INR 60,500-61,500/t ($756-768/t) exy-Mumbai, closer to the levels last seen in early-Apr’21. Limited inventory with distributors and a steady demand has lent support to prices this week, sources informed SteelMint.
Chinese heavy plate (SS400) export offers dropped to $680-690/t FOB from $710-720/t FOB a week ago.
