Heavy structure steel prices drop INR 300/t, d-o-d, in central India

Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur decreased by INR 300/t d-o-d to INR 58,500/t exw for 150mm channel. Spot trade discounts are hovering around INR 1,500-2,000/t.
The base price of light structure steel (55×55 angles) is within INR 48,500-49,000/t exw, down INR 500/t d-o-d.
Weak buying enquiries and decline in semi-finished steel prices in north and central India prompted suppliers to reduce prices.
