SAIL held an auction for 10,500 t (60 kg) of full-length commercial rails from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) today. The base price was set at INR 51,800/t but only a few buyers bid and booked around 3,250 t. Steel scrap of similar grade (end cutting melting) was traded at INR 47,000-47,500/t FOR Raipur.
