In a confirmed deal, 1,000 t of South African RB3 (4800 NAR) grade coal was booked at INR 16,000/t at Vizag Port, up by INR 200/t d-o-d amid strong demand for low-CV coal. Supply of the grade was also heard to be limited in eastern ports, while offers for RB2 (5500 kcal/kg NAR) were higher at INR 18,500/t. Imported RB3 prices were assessed at $170/t FOB basis.
