Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) located in Telangana had to stop mining operations at 19 of its opencast mines amidst heavy rains. Due to this, SCCL could produce just 60,000 t of coal on 11 July against the set per day target of 148,000 t. During 1-11 July, SCCL produced 1.3 mnt of coal, lower by 27% y-o-y.
