- SAIL held an auction for 4,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 11 July from Rourkela Steel Plant. Buyers booked the entire quantity at an average price of INR 46,720/t exw. Prices are higher by INR 921/t compared to previous auction.
- In another auction from IISCO plant, the entire quantity of 2,000 t was booked at an average price of INR 46,150/t exw, higher by INR 1,650/t from previous auction.
