Vietnam: Steel exports rise over 20% on month in June

Vietnam’s steel exports stood at 786,389 t in Jun’22, up 22% from 645,345 t a month ago, as per SteelMint data. Exports dropped 10% against 866,305 t in Jun’21. A major chunk of steel was shipped to Cambodia at 99,844 t, the US at 86,616 t and Philippines at 86,666 t, followed by Italy and Malaysia at 79,864 t and 70,126 t, respectively. In Jan-Jun’22, exports stood at 4.34 mnt, down 17% y-o-y.
