Australian miner Bowen Coking Coal Ltd. has shipped its first low-vol PCI shipment of 350,000 t from the Bluff mine to the Taiwanese conglomerate, Formosa Plastics. Bluff mine was acquired by Bowen in Dec’21. Australian PCI coal demand is expected to remain buoyant after sanctions on Russia were imposed by western and some Asian countries.
