Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan continued to remain stable for the third consecutive day at RMB 3,920/t ($585/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 8 July. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,196/t ($626/t), witnessing a marginal decrease of RMB 13/t ($2/t), d-o-d.
