Indian Billet manufacturers in most of the locations have not considered any change in prices.
“Though, buyers are placing booking orders, but they have limited purchases of the material in bulk quantities.
Looking at the current market scenario, offers are expected to drop by Rs 200/MT in the week to come”, said traders.
A Jharsuguda based Billet producer is heard to have sold out around 6,000 tons of Billet to Nepal.
RINL is also heard to have closed a 12,500 tons of Billet exports deal with overseas buyers (Company officials have not yet confirmed).
