HR strip (patra) prices rose by INR 1,400/t ($18/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 1,000/t ($13/t) in Raipur on 8 July. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices are assessed at INR 55,700/t ($703/t) exw-Mandi and INR 54,400/t ($686/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
