Turkey: Govt to impose AD duties on HRC imports from EU, South Korea

The Turkish government has decided to impose anti-dumping duties (AD) on imports of hot-rolled coils (HRCs) from European Union (EU) and South Korea. As per the official announcement, duties of 7-12.8% will be applied on imports from EU and 7-8.95% on imports from South Korea. The duties will be applicable on the CIF value. Turkey’s HRC/plate imports stood around 5.5 mnt in CY21, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
