Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has scheduled an auction for 88,667 t of chrome ore (32-54% Cr2O3) on 18 July. The material is from its South Kaliapani (68,000t), Sukrangi (16,400t) and Bangur mines (4,267t) in Odisha. The floor price for the auction is yet to be disclosed. OMC’s last chrome ore auction was held on 17 June in which only 17,300 t out of the total quantity of 54,300 t was booked close to the floor price.
