Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 3,920/t ($584/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 6 July. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,245/t ($633/t), witnessing a marginal increase of RMB 7/t ($1/t), d-o-d.
