Indonesia: Steel billet exports fall 60% m-o-m in May’22

Indonesia’s steel billet exports fell sharply by 60.12% m-o-m in May’22 to 0.09 mnt from 0.25 mnt in Apr’22, as per data recently released by customs.
Thailand and Italy were the major importers at 0.02 mnt each
Export volumes fell by 28% to 0.89 mnt y-o-y in Jan-May’22 as against 1.24 mnt in the year-ago period.
