Sponge iron PDRI (FeM 80%) prices continued to remain steady while iron ore-based DRI (CDRI) prices inched up by INR 100/t in Karnataka’s Bellary on 5 July.
- About 2,100 t of PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 33,900-34,000/t exw against offers at INR 34,000/t exw.
- SteelMint’s assessment for CDRI stands at INR 34,450/t exw and around 1,900 t deals were reported.
- Most suppliers have adopted a wait-and-watch mode amidst sufficient orders.
