India: SAIL cuts rebar, wire rod prices for July dispatches

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has lowered list prices of rebars and wire rods for July sales, sources informed SteelMint. Current prices-

• Rebar (12-32mm, IS1786): INR 57,000-57,300/t ($722-726/t) in central India
• Wire rod (5.5-6mm, SAE 1008): INR 56,500-56,800/t ($716-720/t) in eastern India
• Prices are on ex-plant bsis, excluding GST at 18%.
