India: Zinc production marginally up m-o-m in May’22

India’s zinc production increased marginally by 1.42% to 71,000 t in May’22 compared to the previous month, data maintained with SteelMint shows. Production on y-o-y basis moved up by 8.56% against 65,397 t in May’21.

Meanwhile, the mined metal production was down by around 15% to 252,000 t in Q1FY23 against 295,000 t in Q4FY22.
