- China’s Shagang Jiangsu Steel has trimmed scrap procurement prices amid lower finished steel prices, sources informed.
- The company lowered prices by RMB 50/t ($8/t) for all grades, effective 4 Jul’22, as against the last revision on 23 Jun’22.
- After the revision, prices of HMS (6-10mm) are at RMB 3,350/t ($501/t) delivered to headquarters, including 13% VAT.
