According to the port data managed by SteelMint, it was observed that Indian trader Kredence Multi Trading is exporting 55,000 MT Iron pellets from Vizag port on 09 Nov, 2014. Vessel name is ‘M.V AL MERIA’.
Sources say that shipment is made to Iran. However, there is no confirmation from the company officials. Kredence Multi Trading Limited (KMTL) is a closely-held public limited company promoted by Miglani family and is engaged largely in trading of steel.
KMTL is an Uttam Group, which is engaged in the manufacturing and trading of various Flat Steel products for close to five decades. Recently, KIOCL, a state-owned Pellet manufacturer with an annual capacity of 3.5 MnT, has exported one shipment to Iran from Mangalore port in the month of October.
Another 45,000 MT Iron pellet was exported from Paradip port to China port in the month of October at around USD 97-98/MT FOB Paradip, according to customs data.
