Indonesian thermal coal prices decline by upto $6/t amid weak Chinese demand

Indonesian thermal coal prices continued the declining trajectory amid weak inquires from the Chinese market. A sharp fall in domestic coal prices and higher Russian imports dented Indonesian coal buying appetite in China. The highest price fall of $6/t was seen in high-CV while low-CV prices remained largely unchanged. Indian demand for low-CV Indonesian coal remained firm amid domestic supply crunch.
