MOIL conducted an auction for 4,750 t of different grades of high-carbon (HC) ferro manganese (850 t), ferro manganese slag (2,000 t) and manganese ore of dioxide grade (1,900 t) on 28 Jun’22 from its Balaghat plant. Around 600 t HC ferromanganese (70-72%) and 2,000 t slag was booked at close to the floor price. The current market price of ferro manganese (HC70%) is at around INR 87,100/t ex-Raipur.
