China: Steel billet prices stable, rebar futures up marginally

Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 4,040/t ($603/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 30 June. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,378/t ($653/t), witnessing a marginal increase of RMB 18/t ($3/t), d-o-d.
