Turkiye: Imported scrap prices gain further in recent booking

Turkiye’s imported scrap trade gained momentum as suppliers continued to push imported scrap offers higher.
In a recent deal, Eastern Marmara-based steel mills booked a Baltic-origin 25,000 t bulk cargo comprising HMS (80:20) at $340/t and bonus material at $355/t.
Imported scrap offers have moved up by $10/t in the last two days.
