Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur opened prices at stable levels today. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 56,500/t exw. Lack of demand for structural steel across regions was the result of falling billet prices. Currently trade discounts given by the suppliers in Raipur are up to INR 2,000/t. However, in nearby markets such as Durgapur prices of strucutural steel are hovering around INR 53,800-54,300/t.
