Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan increased by RMB 30/t ($4/t) on 29 June. Prices stood at RMB 4,040/t ($604/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,360/t ($652/t), witnessing an uptick of RMB 11/t ($2/t).
