Japan: Aluminium exports down 4% m-o-m in May

Japan’s total aluminium (scrap, semi-finished, finished and others) exports declined by 4% to 60,175 t in May as against 62,647 t in April, according to SteelMint customs data.

Exports of finished aluminium products registered a decrease of 11.2% m-o-m to 23,676 t in May while those of scrap and semi-finished aluminium grew by 2% and 7.6% respectively to 33,260 t and 1,920 t.
