Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL) has revised the surface transportation charge (STC) that are imposed on customers for transporting coal from mines to loading points. As per latest revision, the STC has been increased by INR 5/t to INR 39/t for distance up to 3 km, while for remaining distance slabs, it was kept unchanged. For distance more than 20 km, the charge will be payable on lead basis. The new rates are applied from 25 June’22.
