India met coke exports in June’22 fall by 37% m-o-m

Indian met coke exports in Jun’22 stood at 45,000 t against 71,500 t in May’22, down 37% m-o-m. The entire quantity was sold to Brazil from Dhamra Port. Coke demand in the exports market has turned sluggish amid bearish sentiments in the steel sector. Domestic met coke prices in India are currently assessed at INR 43,000/t exy-Cuttack.
