China: Aluminium imports rise 10% m-o-m in May’22

China’s total aluminium imports were recorded at 294,103 tonnes in May’22, a rise of 10.25% against 266,757 t in Apr’22.
Aluminium scrap imports were at 100,734 t, finished materials at 36,579 t and semi finished, at 151,890 t in May’22.
The total aluminium import volumes in Jan-May’22 were recorded at 142,2807 t, as per data collated by SteelMint.
