A leading domestic zinc producer has concluded a purchase tender for 8,000 t of met coke (65% CSR, 25% CRI) at INR 52,200/t. The tender was awarded to Vedenta Ltd. and Saurashtra Fuels Pvt Ltd. Given the high grade of the material purchased, the tender was concluded at a comparatively higher price compared to BF grade coke prices prevailing in the retail market.
