China: Nickel ore imports rise m-o-m in May

China’s imports of nickel ore were recorded at 3.84 mnt in May, an increase of 54.7% m-o-m compared to 2.48 mnt in April, as per data maintained by SteelMint. Import volumes, on y-o-y basis, showed an increase of 4.59% as against 3.68 mnt in May’21. Cumulative imports in January-May were recorded at 10.8 mnt.
