- Jindal Steel, India’s one of the largest steel producers, has concluded deals of 3,500 t of steel grade pig iron at around INR 44,000/t exw from its Raigarh-based plant. Meanwhile, resellers are offering the same at INR 44,300-500/t on FOR Raigarh basis.
- Jindal’s panther shots (granulated pig iron) offers are heard at INR 42,500/t exw-Angul. As per officials, about 10,000 t of the material is available for sale.
- A Jharsuguda, Odisha-based mill has concluded a few deals of steel grade pig iron at INR 44,000/t exw to local buyers.
