China: Spot iron ore prices rise as seaborne liquidity improves

The spot price of iron ore in China on 23 June rose on stronger seaborne trading activity. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved up by $6.65/t to $116.05/t CFR China. According to sources, buying sentiment improved following the release of Chinese steel data which showed greater demand for rebars.
