Hindalco and Balco have increased primary aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 2,250/t ($29/t) today. Hindalco’s effective price is INR 226,250/t ($2,889/t), while Balco’s price is at INR 228,750/t ($2,921/t) exw. The closing price for the three-month aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,477/t on 23 June, largely stable d-o-d, while cash prices increased by $25/t to $2,480/t d-o-d.
