Steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, kept prices high owing to decent volume of previous booking orders and delay in dispatches and deliveries in the spot market. Around 4,000 t of trades were reported by a few suppliers today in the price range of INR 52,500-53,000/t exw. However, due to shortage of material, a few manufacturers quoted offers at INR 53,700/t, up by INR 1,200/t as against yesterday.
