China: Steel inventory at CISA-affiliated mills rises over 10% in mid-June

Steel inventory at Chinese mills in mid-Jun’22 stood at 20.52 mnt, an increase of 1.97 mnt or 10.65% from the previous month, as per CISA data. In the first 10 days of the month, inventory increased by 545,800 t and compared with the beginning of the year inventory increased by 9.22 mnt. As against the same period of last year, steel inventory increased by 4.82 mnt, up 30.75%.
