Domestic copper armature scrap prices trended lower today to INR 680,000/t ($8,723/t), a decrease of INR 13,000/t ($167/t) from INR 693,000/t ($8,890/t) on 17 Jun. The price of secondary copper wire rods stood at INR 729,000/t ($9,352/t), down by INR 14,000/t ($180/t) over the previous closing. Weakening exchange prices urged traders to book material as per immediate requirements, SteelMint learnt from sources.
