China’s ferro chrome imports decreased by 20% m-o-m to 158,400 t in May’22 from 190,080 t in Apr owing to improved domestic production. On a yearly basis, imports decreased by 40% to 854,900 t during Jan-May. Ferro chrome exports by South Africa in May were at 55,700 t, down 45%, followed by Kazakhstan at 53,700 t, down 7%, and India at 20,800 t, up 29%.
