Scrap auctions by auto parts producers in north India receive moderate response

In the third week of Jun’22, auto component producers in northern and western India conducted multiple auctions for mild steel melting/component scrap. A Rajasthan-based auto parts producer conducted an auction for around 250 t of CR busheling scrap that fetched bids at INR 44,100/t exw. Also, about 400 t of auto steel scrap was heard booked at INR 43,350/t exw in an auction in Haryana.
