China’s steel inventory rises 2%, w-o-w, to 14.51 mnt

China’s steel inventory rose 2% to 14.51 mnt today compared with 14.23 mnt a week ago, as per Lange Steel.

• Stocks of HRC and plates went up by 2% and 3% w-o-w to 2.63 mnt and 1.19 mnt, respectively. However, CRC stocks edged down by 1% w-o-w to 1.33 mnt.
• Stocks of rebar and wire rods increased by 2% and 4% w-o-w to 7.54 mnt and 1.82 mnt respectively.
