India: Sponge iron prices increase by INR 200/t in Bellary, Karnataka

Sponge iron, PDRI (FeM 80%), prices in Karnataka’s Bellary went up INR 200/t, while iron ore-based DRI (CDRI) prices increased up to INR 250/t on 17 Jun’22.

• 5,400 t of PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 32,000-32,500/t exw against offers at INR 32,500/t exw.
• CDRI assessment stands at INR 33,000/t exw and 2,260 t of deals were reported.
• Billet prices in Hyderabad increased by INR 1,000/t d-o-d.
