Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the second consecutive day at RMB 4,380/t ($652/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 16 Jun’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,506/t ($671/t), witnessing a fall of RMB 41/t ($6/t) d-o-d.
