India: SAIL’s Open Offer for 12,500 MT Pig Iron

SAIL is offering 12,500 MT Pig iron (basic grade) for sale from Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) through its open offer.

SAIL is offering 12,500 MT Pig iron at INR 22,400/MT (ex-Rourkela), which is available for sale on ‘As is Where is’ and ‘No Complaint’ basis against 100% advance payment by rail only. 

Previously, the company had offered Pig iron at INR 22,300/MT ex-Rourkela plant (dated on 11 Oct, 2014) and the bookings were accepted in the multiples of 50 MT through road delivery. Now, it has extended the booking date for remaining 6,850 MT Pig iron till 30 Oct, 2014.

PCM-I: 7,500 MT (+/- 20%) approx
PCM-II: 5,000 MT (+/- 20%) approx

PCM-I: INR 22,400/MT
PCM-II: INR 22,400/MT

Price mentioned above is exclusive of taxes & duties and will be applicable as on dispatch date. 

Minimum Booking Quantity: 2,850 MT (one rake load) 

Loading

Loading shall be done by RSP at free of cost. However, rail freight to be paid before issue of Release Order (RO).

Important Date

Booking period: Till 31 Oct, 2014

Sale period: 01-31 Nov, 2014

Dispatches will be against 100% advance payment.
