Japan: Nippon Stainless raises prices of 300, 400 series stainless steel for June

Japan’s Nippon Stainless Steel Corporation has raised the price of 300 series and heavy plate stainless steel prices in Jun’22 by JPY 10,000/t ($74/t), as per SteelDaily. The total price uptick for 300 series products since Jun’20 stands at JPY 355,000/t ($2,637/t). Moreover, the company has raised the price of 400 series by JPY 15,000/t ($111/t) for Jun, as per sources.
