Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur reduced prices by INR 500/t d-o-d on 15 Jun’22. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 53,000/t exw. Owing to weak sentiments in the billet market and lack of trading inquiries in structural steel at higher price levels, suppliers raised their trade discounts by around INR 2,000/t on yesterday’s session. These factors forced manufacturers to slash offers today. Currently discounts offering at around INR 1,200-1,400/t.
