JSW Steel has recorded highest-ever crude steel output at 1.789 mnt in May’22, an increase of 31% from 1.367 mnt in May’21. Production rose by 7% m-o-m compared with 1.667 mnt in the previous month.
- Flat steel production stood at 1.284 mnt, up 29% compared with 990,000 t in May’21.
- Long steel production rose 25% y-o-y to 386,000 t from 309,000 t in May’21.
JSW surpassed the previous high of 1.667 mnt of crude steel production in Apr.
