Auto component producers in north India held multiple auctions for mild steel low-carbon melting scrap this week ending 11 Jun’22. An Uttarakhand-based auto parts producer conducted an auction for around 400 t of auto end-cutting scrap that fetched bids at around INR 42,550/t exw. Some quantity of turning boring scrap received bids at INR 39,500-40,000/t exw.
