India: About 6,000 t sponge iron sold in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

SteelMint’s assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) inched up by INR 100/t to INR 30,500/t exw-Raipur.
About 5,900 t of deals for FeM 79-80% P-DRI were reported at a price range of INR 30,400-30,600/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis.
Amid slight price fluctuation, major buyers actively booked sponge iron and with a slight shortage of sponge iron for ready dispatch, prices rose today.
